See me at Maker Faire, Austin!

I'm really excited to be at the Maker Faire October 20th and 21st. I have been a devoted reader of the Make magazine, instructables and anything Make related on the web. This will be my first time attending the Maker Faire, let alone exhibiting my humble creation. I would have loved to go to the San Francisco/San Mateo Maker Faire. I guess I moved away from San Francisco too early to catch it. Read More...

Great idea! I'll have to see how I can get my hands on a few memory sticks for my camers. :)

take a pc or laptop and dump the memory stick(s) when it gets full..

This will be a great reason to justify a laptop purchase. Whoohoo! :)

Well... my wife would never go for that trick. I will bring my pc and dump it there. I will need it anyway to direct my machine.

Thanks Les

Les,

I did not have a second to any building. There were people discussing CNC all day and asking questions continually throught the two days of the show. But, I had a great time and I will post information about my experience. The Maker Faire is an incredible show.

During the show, I was also very ill. I couldn't even talk very well.

On the bright side, get ready for a new video series on, yet, another CNC machine all steel using only a hack saw, a screw driver, wrench, and maybe a drill. I have already started filming and I've built half the machine, so far.
